Day Thirty-Four.

Today we had our final project management presentation. Everything was a success and everyone really sacrifice their shopping time to fork out free time just to produce quality work all because of today’s presentation. There were errors in the process of doing our project and we had to re-do quite a number of times. Overall, it’s worthwhile doing these. After that, Miss Neo briefed us on our trip and some points we had to take note when we returned to Singapore especially the weight limit for our luggage. Returned to our hostel and meet up with the rest at 建设二路. We had 炸酱面 for dinner and headed back to campus.
We were all surprised that two of the hairstylists came to our hostel and visit us. We barely know each other for only one week or so but they were like friends who we knew for very long. Also, after going to the salon for a few times, I have seen something which is different from Singapore. In the local salon, their hairstylist is specialized in various things. For instance, one or two is specialized in cutting and styling, some is washing, perming or even dying of our hair. However, in Singapore, the hairstylist is all rounder. Maybe we are more used to Singapore’s way because the local way, after you wash your hair, they will ask you to wait for the particular person. But by the time you wait, your hair is already dried, its pointless to blow anymore. On the other hand, the method the locals used, maybe good because they are specialized in that particular thing and their skills may be much better than those hairstylist in Singapore.
Another thing is that, in Singapore, people played mahjong indoor but in China, they played it outdoor. At first, I thought something happened. So my friends and I went over to have a look and was amazed that the locals actually have the habit of playing mahjong on the streets.
