Day Nineteen.

IS lesson today was on "Doing Business in China." Expanding business in China because it is growing. Since a service is an experience that you have had, as long as the experience you have given to the local Chinese consumer, is as good as in the west, you are assured a good market in the future. Language is the most disadvantage, they speak simple English, not to use complicated words. There are also some things we must take note: Never say No. You should say,"I'll look into it." If you were asked of intrusive question. remain polite and give unspecific answer. Physical actions like patting them on the shoulder is not encourage, they think that it is rude. Inside, outside the raw materials used, the finishing especially quality because it is important. Quality control, rely on the suppliers quality control or hire third party. We must uphold meritocracy and incorruptibility: Singapore make it a must that English is our first language, Mother Tongue second and this cannot be changed. Because we are country of multiracial. Only with the help of English, we are able to communicate with one another. This apply to when we are at overseas, English and Mother Tongue are both common. Thus, it benefits all of us. This reduces miscommunication when collaborating with business partners as well as people from anywhere, everywhere. We must be proud of our country as the government provide opportunities for all, according to their ability and effort. And that, we all can see how Singapore has actually improved compared to last time. All in all, our bilingualism puts us, Singaporeans, at an advantage and made our lives more convenient.
And so, Ngee Ann Deputy Principal, Mr Foo See Meng came to visit us for a dialogue session. It only lasted for approximately half an hour. Its really very lucky of us to meet him, because not many will have this opportunity. After lesson, went to 建设二路 for steamboat at 麻辣空间. We came to this conclusion as we were all freezing cold. We were astonished by their service because we did not experience it the other time we went. First, they gave mini zip lock bag to protect our phone. Second, coats were covered with a bag to prevent it from getting smelly. Third, they gave us hair bands for either eating conveniently or hygiene purpose. China also have places with high customer service level. And their cleanliness is also good. Even the toilets are clean. This shows that, even we went to places with low customer service level, poor cleanliness, we should not jump into conclusion that the country is like this. Because the minority might not be like that. Hence, not judging one small tree to the entire forest.
