Day Ten.

Tour around in Wuhan City today. Went to places like Yellow Crane Tower -黄鹤楼, Lute Platform -古琴台, Jianghan Road -江汉路. We've got a marvelous tour guide who never fail to explain everything regarding the history of China and sharing some tips with us. For instance, how 热干面 came about?? Lee Bao, the name of the vendor, was unable to sell all the noodles. So, he cooked and dried them to prevent the noodles from turning bad. Unfortunately, he spilled the oil over the noodles. In the morning, he cooked the noodles and realize that the fragrance smell is very strong and it also taste nice. Another one is the Wuhan Chang Jiang Da Qiao which is one of the biggest bridge. And that in 1957, the government started to allow vehicle to access.
We heard many many more historical stories from the tour guide and soon, after a 30 minutes bus ride, we reached the Yellow Crane Tower. The current site we went is not the original one as it was moved due to building of a bridge. We were really lucky to have a awesome tour guide, she speak very fluently. With every explanation she elaborates, she will add on with either idioms or examples. Guess, Singaporeans should learn more from them to improve on our Mother Tongue. And so, we went up to the Yellow Crane Tower. It consists of 7 story high. All of us explore the the levels and get to know the history behind this tower. It was well-preserved and that the future generation are able to know more about it, appreciate it. Most importantly, to allow people to captivate the scenery.
Headed to 胡北三五醇酒店 for our lunch. Their dishes was much better than those street food definitely.
Reached our next destination, Lute Platform. This place is mesmerized by BoYa and ZhiQi where both became good friends. They were supposed to meet one year later but ZhiQi didn't turn up. So, BoYa found ZhiQi's house and found out that he was died due to illness. Sadly, BoYa went to ZhiQi's tomb and played the music for the last time. He broke his instrument and never played any instrument for the rest of his life.
Last but not least, we went to HanKou Beach which is only walking distance away from 江汉路步行街. That place looks more like a park to me. We saw many people having their wedding photo taken over there. And we tried to imitate them. Saw many senior citizens chatting with their friends, playing cards and some other entertainment to keep them occupied. At the same time, they are breathing more fresher air. It is so much better than staying at home, doing the same routine everyday.
In addition, passed by the streets nearby and saw about two groups of women exercising. This is rather interesting. Not only can they promote healthy lifestyle and also to expand their social circle.
