Day Twenty-One.

Loud fire crackers woke me up in the morning. Took a glance at the window but nothing was seen. Trumpets were blowing and sounds of drums can be heard after that. But was not sure where the sound came from. Curiosity kills a cat, so didn’t care much and got myself prepared, went to lesson then. Lesson ended off early, in order for us to prepare for written test tomorrow. So we decided to stay in class to revise. This is the first time; we studied together in another country. We can approach one another more easily, clarifying our doubts. Compared to Singapore, we only can clarify through phone calls or internet.

Were aware that when we are shopping, the locals will just throw their unwanted things anywhere, everywhere, they like. Litter bins were not found everywhere. Probably, this tends to make people have the habit of littering. Or they are just too lazy to walk to the bin. However, we follow their footsteps as well, but not to the ultimate extend like theirs. Cleaners must be having a headache as and when after they have cleared the pavements. That is why, Singapore have implement rules to refrain people to throw litter so as to maintain the reputation of The Clean and Green City. Also, we were so used to the cleanliness in Singapore; we cannot stand our hostel to be full of rubbish. We will tend to clear our litter bins quite often and were praised by the cleaners.
