Day Twenty-Two.

The duration for Project Management test lasted for one and a half paper and we were released at 1130.
Look. Everyone is doing the test seriously
Took Bus 702 to 老鼠街, alight at 卓刀泉 and went around asking for directions. But when we arrived, the place does not have much clothing that was to our liking. There were some stalls, they called it 摆地摊, and those were illegal stalls. We waited till around 1700 as the night market will only set up by then. We were all freezing and decided to eat something hot that can keep us warm. Continued to shop till around 2100, there were much more things there and it was impossible for us to walk around the place within the short timing given. Soon, we headed back to our hostel. We took the private public bus and there were no sound system to alert us. So, we kept asking the locals in the bus thus managed to alight at the correct stop and walked back to our hostel. Thinking back, having social skills is very important. We have to interact with strangers or else we will be lost as we are unfamiliarize with the place as we are not in our own country. That is why today, when we were on the private public bus, we asked around for directions and one of the on board passengers actually volunteered to inform us, when were we supposed to alight. How lucky we were to meet the minority of kind souls in China.

There are many locals going to the streets and beg for money. Its a norm to see this in China. Parents actually even brought their children along to beg for money. Its very disheartening to see such cases happening in today's society. China government should actually take immediate actions and help them.

The shop that sells Dog Meat. Yes, DOG MEAT.

Public toilet. We cannot expect much from their toilets. And we still have to pay $0.50rmb for it. There are no flush or anything. Probably, have to wait for raining days to drain those feces away. And we have to help one another to cover so that, the locals will not budge their way in and share the "toilet bowl" with us. Because they have the habit of sharing one toilet or going into the toilet together, looking at the one who is using and faster use it after the person stood up. This shows that not only Singaporeans are "kiasu."

                                          Street that sells mostly food.

Have you noticed anything? Their hair.

Private Bus. The lady in front collect money from the passengers instead of using those money machine.

Highway lighting is different from Singapore. It is very unique and creative. And it indeed catch the attention of people. Very nice. Most importantly, it did not affect the vision of the driver.
